NS ex-CofGA track o/s
NS' ex-CofGA track at Senoia, GA. This line here is still intact but out of service. About a mile or so in the distance the line intercked with CSX's Manchester sub. The interlocking signals on the NS line still stand as if they are waiting on an NS train. NS has one customer in Senoia.

steven langsford General would it be possable for a loco to go down this line at a low speed if they re opened it? 1/14/2005 10:56:32 AM
Andrew Durden General The portion of the line past the crossing (toward the pedestrian overpass) was kept servicable for a few extra weeks in 1991 for the filming of "Fried Green Tomatos," starring the A&WP 290. 5/18/2005 2:09:07 PM
J. Williams General Yes it can, but the diamond that crosses over CSX main line was taken out years ago, it's a little bit south of the bridge you see. after the bridge the tracks are still in and you could go all the way to Experiment(North Griffin), GA, that is where the line meets NS's (ex-C of G) East Point,GA to Macon,GA. it will take ALOT of vegetation control work to get throu. going north from Senoia is still in service and has a NS local works the line once a day, five days a week, they go on duty at Cedartown,GA and comes to Senoia,GA then back. 11/21/2006 7:29:10 PM
