Conrail Crusador inbound at Bound Brook NJ  Contributor's Pick!       
Conrail Crusador from Reading Terminal in Philly to Newark, picks up speed after a Bound Brook stop. The Reading Crusado began 02/22/1938. By 1977 it was a SEPTA supported Conrail commuter run between Reading Terminal and Penn Station Newark. The lead RDC3 began life on the Boston & Maine 2/1958. She was sold to the Reading 8/1966, and then to SEPTA 5/1976. When this service was cancelled, she went to the Blue Mtn & Reading in 1984, and was badly damaged in 1987.
