John Walker	General	I understand the owner and a secretary come to work every day. On occasion, he starts up the engine. They have only about 300 yards of track. Has nothing to do with Katrina. Their industry and customers closed or moved. They are now landlocked. Their office is off Goodyear Boulevard and this is their sole engine.	6/4/2010 8:47:52 AM

John Walker	General	Updated as of 1/29/11 - drove over to Picayune today and you can see about the top half of the engine because of all the weeds and underbrush that have grown up in front. Neither the batteries or the other piece of equipment in the foreground is visible because of the weeds. The office now looks really run down and was really dark inside with that "closed" look. I realize it was a Saturday, but the whole property was uncharacteristically unkempt.	1/29/2011 7:53:16 PM

Jason Glydewell	General	I took my son there to look at it on 2/1/2011 -- just missed you by a few days. Someone at the Chamber of Commerce told me the owner had died and the whole operation was abandoned, not exactly sure when, though. I was also told there is an old tank car just a hundred yards or so from the engine.	2/2/2011 2:04:29 PM
