Southbound Amtrak Texas Eagle Train #21 With an NPCU  Contributor's Pick!
Tucked in on the tail end of #21 tonight at 1:36 was this Cabbage headed back to Texas for use on the Heartland Flyer. Somebody had told Conductor Bill to "check the fuel in the rear engine". We decided somebody was messing with him when he mentioned that it has a baggage compartment and no engine, not to mention no fuel sight glass. The lead unit was AMTK 40.

David Mead General I am pleased that you have shown an Amtrak train even though you only see them in the hours of darkness. I assume there insnt enough passenger business for more trains. 4/22/2007 6:10:05 PM
