Originally built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1912 as Canadian Northern (CNoR) 4-6-0 #1114, it was renumbered in 1919 to CN 1114 after the railroad mergers. The loco served for nearly 42 years before being scrapped in June of 1954. Original specs - class G-16-1, 57" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 20x24" cylinders, engine weight of 154,000 lb and tractive effort of 25,768 lb. No photographer was listed for this photo. |
