Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #646, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1918 and retired in November of 1957 after 39 years of faithful service. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded. Many thanks to Mr. Robert Hess for identifying this location correctly.

Robert Hess General Mile Post 19 on the New York & Long Branch is just south of Little Silver, NJ. The peak of the station roof is visible on the right and the train has just departed, heading for Bay Head. Nice shot! 12/31/2023 9:53:17 PM
