Monon Deppot at Mitchell, IN         
This is the Monon depot at Mitchell, IN. No date was given but it appears to be around 1972 when compared to other photos online. Technically, if the date is correct, this depot would now be under the L&N name as it absorbed the Monon in 1971. Note the Monon hopper in the background. This is a John Fuller reprint.

Tom Beckett General This station looks pretty battered!! Love the Monon hopper. Bet that's long gone by now. Cool set. I like the track-looks like it could use some work, but not awful. Must have been a show at Clay City when trains ran past the tower. I can smell the diesel exhaust and creosote!! 12/4/2023 4:57:10 AM
