PRR 5705, EP-22, c. 1955
Here is an image of a photo of (L to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5705 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5705 was constructed in September of 1952. It looks to me like the only "passenger" on the platform is the pigeon in the foreground! The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (Anyone recognize this station ~ please advise.) Edward Kaspriske Collection.
