| Amtrak 167 glides into Salinas with the southbound Coast Starlight at 12:02 PM. 167 is running on time today, not always common for the Starlight. Salinas is the first stop after the crew change at San Jose. From here, busses can carry passengers west to Monterey. There is usually a 10-12 minute layover in Salinas for passengers to stretch their legs. 167 will be delayed for an additional 20 minutes here, departing at 12:35 PM. Note the Rio Grande hoppers on the right. |
