Namibia Class 33-400
The Class 33-400 series (401 to 515, all South African manufactured) entered SAR service between July 1968 and March 1970. Some were donated to Namibia upon that country's independence. TransNamib (the Namibian Railways) locos usually do not venture further south than Ariamsvlei in Namibia. These two exceptions to the rule are laying over in Upington on their way to Nigel on the East Rand for repairs after a slight mishap resulting in bent frames.
