| Recently-completed Fortescue Metals Group AC44C6M 121 was on the Wabtec test track just north of the builder’s Fort Worth plant. The locomotive had just been rebuilt from a BNSF/GECX C44-9W and would be going to haul iron ore in Western Australia. Locomotives are usually tested in sets of two or four, so finding one unit out like this was really unusual. |
