| Two of Amtraks brand new ALC-42s rest in the yard at Seattle. Amtrak 302 and 303 have only left the factory months before, and have become regulars on the Empire Builder run between Chicago and Seattle. These units will also be introduced to other Amtrak services across the country, and services like the City of New Orleans and California Zephyr are in the process of equipping with the new locomotives. These are the second and third ALC-42s I have photographed, but they will certainly not be the last. |
