Photo Caption: "Empty hopper cars returning to the coal mines round the Horseshoe Curve with a Baldwin built I1s at the head end. On this section, the going was rough and the engineer had to run of a long cut-off. That is where the 50 per cent cut-off in full gear paid off and produced money saving economies."
