Marty, what a great picture! Was this train 5 heading towards North St. Paul? I know the juntion at Trout Creek is right ahead of them, and this would have been about six months before they quit running to Chicago. Thanks!

The SOO used the MILW depot in Minneapolis. I assume that's where it's going.

Marty, I think all the Soo passenger trains went via the Milwaukee Road to Minneapolis, so this almost has to be #5 heading to Chicago, as it is on the NP near Mississippi St. That is the CNW 400 line over the top in the background. I love this shot!
