PRR 4700, P-5, 1961         
Electric Action. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Leaman Place, Pennsylvania, on 30 April 1961. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4700, a P-5 (2-C-2) built in Juniata as number "7898" in July of 1931, rated at 3,750 horsepower, renumbered "4700" in September of 1933, retired in April of 1965, and presently on display at the National Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, Missouri. Here, it's at Leaman Place with an excursion.
