| Newly-remanufactured Norfolk Southern AC44C6M 4463 was parked behind Webtec’s plant at Fort Worth for a media event. Wabtec has designated this unit as the 1,000th General Electric locomotive remanufactured at plants in the United States, Brazil and Mexico since GE began this program in 2015. The 4463’s builder’s sticker identified it as serial number 50430, with a weight of 432,000 pounds and originally built in July 1997. |
