PRR 4856, GG-1, c. 1967
Electrics. Here is a photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4856, a GG-1 (2-C-C-2) built in Juniata during June of 1935 and rated at 4,620 horsepower. Looks to me like another one of those half-baked engine washes! The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (Gift from Brad Mann.)
