RDG Alco C430 #5212 - Reading Co
Although hidden by the platform, this loco has the distinction of wearing a plaque labeled "Old Ironsides II", apparently in honor of the first steam locomotive built by Baldwin. This is one of only two built on AAR trucks. Does anyone know an explanation for the name plate and truck oddities??? Paul Kuehner photo
