Portraits 2. Here is a steam locomotive portrait by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Columbus, Ohio, on 19 August 1957. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3445, an I-1S (2-10-0) "Decapod" built in Juniata as an I-1S during January of 1919, rebuilt as an I-1SA in January of 1947, and retired in November of 1958 after 39 years of faithful service. Note the Train Phone gear installed between the bell and the sand dome. (#21 of 36)
