| GN 1302 is seen here on the H-GALMEM1 25A dead in tow, most likely, headed for the scrappers torch. Sad to see an old one disappear. This unit started out at a high hood GP7 when it was built in October of 1952 (ATSF 2787). Later became ATSF 2011 - GP7u and then to BNSF 1302 before being dropped from the BNSF roster and given the GN marks. |
