Here is page four of a four-page camera study entitled "Elizabeth." Photos by Charles F. Pearce. It was published originally in the May 1949 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 49. Top Photo, Partial Caption: "Westbound freight on the Pennsylvania roars through Elizabeth behind No. 4773, a 4-6-4 P-5a box-cab electric." PRR engine #4773 is a P-5A (2-C-2) built by General Electric during December of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in July of 1959 after 27 years of faithful service.
