| Quite an unlikely pairing of locos - Nickel Plate Road 2-8-2 #587 having been restored the previous year after sitting in the Broad Ripple Park in Indianapolis for nearly 30 years is on tour. Meanwhile former C&O #7309 now serves the growing needs of the young Indiana Railroad. An unknown photographer caught these two in the INRD Indianapolis yard in 1989. |
