| A CN local crosses W. Spencer St. and parallels S. Whitman Ave. as it heads south at Appleton, WI, on 7 Oct. '20. I'm not sure who originally laid this track, which once enabled interchange traffic between the former C&NW yard (behind me) and the former SOO yard (in the distance). The former SOO main line passes under the overpass upon which the MoW vehicles are parked. The W. College Ave. overpass is in the background. The facility partially visible to the right has a spur which has not been used for quite a while. |
