A CN local traverses the east leg of the wye and approaches the Main St. overpass at the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI, on 15 May '20. The white building beyond the train, to the left, is, or was, Progressive Paper Storage, Inc. (formerly Kimberly-Clark Warehouse (K-C Warehouse)), 135 Millview Dr. It does not receive rail service, but it looks like there may have been a spur on the northwest side of the building in the past. The Edward Smith Octagon House, 347 Smith St., is partially visible under the overpass. The house was erected between 1851 and 1854. Edward Smith, who operated a flour mill and had an early interest in the Neenah Paper Co., purchased the home in 1855. It has been owned by the Neenah Historical Society since 1993. Looking south from Arrowhead Park, a closed paper sludge landfill. Before the landfill was opened in the '50s, the south shore of Little Lake Butte des Morts came right up to the north leg of the wye.
