PRR 9528, EF-15, 1958         
Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Cove, Pennsylvania, on 18 April 1958. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9528 and another unit whose number is not recorded. Both were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9528 is an EF-15 built in July of 1948 and retired in July of 1965 after just 17 years' service. This A-A set is powering an eastbound mineral train. ("Stoneborobranch"; # of )
