CN 4-8-4 #6152 - Canadian National         
Great action shot of a departing Canadian National 4-8-4 Confederation type (CN's name for Northerns) #6152. Built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in April of 1929, it served as the premier high speed passenger and freight service loco on the CN roster. Specs - serial #67781, class U-2-c, 73" drivers, impressive 250 psi boiler pressure, 25.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 383,000 lb, tractive effort of 56,786 lb. The locomotive was retired and scrapped in November of 1961 after 32 years of faithful service. No date, location or photographer was given for the photo.
