| The engineer hangs out his window for a better view while waiting. The loco was built by the Montreail Locomotive Works in 1918 as CNoR #2476 but eventually joined the CN roster during the 1919 merger. Specs - serial #59423, class N-2-b, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x32" cylinders, engine weight of 241,500 lb, tractive effort of 49,737 lb. The locomotive was scrapped in October of 1961.No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo but Bruce Gemmel found the info.
