| The Grand Trunk Rwy shops built this 4-6-0 ten wheeler in 1907 as GTR #1020 but renumbered GTR 420 in 1910. When it landed on the CNR steam roster, it was renumbered CNR 1609 in 1923. The loco met the scrapper's torch in July of 1941, just 3 short years after this photo of it sitting in a storage line at London, Ontario. An unknown photographer took the photo. |
