| Illinois Central 2-8-2 3772 was on a transfer run in New Orleans, on its way from STUYVESANT DOCKS YARD to MAYS YARD. AUDUBON PARK is on the left and the Mississippi River is off to the right. The 3772 was one of 33 light Mikados which the IC rebuilt from Consolidations between 1918 and 1924, and it was sold for scrap in May 1955. (approximate date of photo) |
