| Just before 10am on Thursday April 16, 2020, southbound intermodal local G88 knocked the signal down at CP Austell in Austell, Georgia with NS #3511 (SD40-2) and NS #6220 (SD33ECO). G88 shuttles intermodal cars from Austell Intermodal Terminal, which it just departed here, to the nearby Inman Yard, a distance of roughly 14 railroad miles. NS #3511 is a rare breed on NS (and becoming even more rare), as it is one of the few SD40-2s with its headlight on the nose. |
