| Fairly nice photo of the 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive built by Burnham, Wms & Co (Baldwin) in November of 1903. Original specs - serial #23259, class 900, 57" drivers, 225 psi boiler pressure, 19x32" high pressure cylinders, 32x32" low pressure cylinders, engine weight of 287,240 lb, tractive effort of 57,314 lb., rebuilt to simple in 1923 at Albuquerque with 28X32 cylinders, retaining to 57" drivers. The loco was finally sold for scrap on 8/7/1953 to the M.S. Kaplan Company. No date was listed so an approximate one was used. C.C. Grayson photo |
