One of the last few remaining Santa Fe (ATSF) signal bridges lives on in the 21st century here in Bucklin, Missouri along the BNSF Marceline Subdivision. I believe there are only 3 left along the line, many have been torn down to make way for the newer Positive Train Control signals. One of the survivors so far is seen here under the stars as fast moving intermodal screams through the night illuminating the bridge. Hi-Res: https://flic.kr/p/2gadkgm |
