Quin. Here is the fourth of four photographs of Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotives that were taken by Frank Quin. It was published originally in the October 1989 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 48. Partial Caption: "The cover photo and this one, both 35mm Kodachromes, form a sequence of two dusty 2-10-0's getting under way at Northumberland, Pa., in the early 1950's as the Pennsy's steam was waning." Prominent here is PRR engine #4644, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during October of 1923, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in January of 1943, and retired in February of 1960 after 37 years of faithful service.
