Quin. Here is the second of four photographs of Pennsylvania Railroad steam locomotives that were taken by Frank Quin. It was published originally in the October 1989 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 47. Partial Caption: "Coming round Horse Shoe Curve, Pennsylvania 2-10-0 4253 (on the front) assists a 4-8-2 on a 'passenger train,' a nameless mail and express with some coaches." Prominent here is PRR engine #4253, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S in July of 1923, rebuilt as an I-1SA in December of 1942, and retired in October of 1959 after 36 years' service.
