"P.R.R. Station," 1919         
Here is a postal card entitled "P.R.R. Station, Looking West, Altoona, Pa." Postmarked: 24 February 1919. Prominent here is the Pennsylvania Railroad's Logan House, site of the Civil War era "Loyal War Governors' Conference." In front of it is the trainshed which sheltered passengers from the elements for 90 years before it was demolished in 1960.
