"Trains" Centennial Issue, Page 35, 1946         
Here is page 35 of the April 1946 issue of "Trains" magazine. It's a one-page camera study entitled "Pennsylvania Station." Partial Caption: "Busiest railroad station in the United States. . . . Handled 109,349,114 passengers during 1945. . . . 350,000 passengers a day on four railroads: Pennsylvania, New Haven, Lehigh Valley, and Long Island. . . . More than 900 trains a day. . . . Total area of concourse, waiting rooms, and the various public passages exceeds 170,000 square feet." Partially visible in the foreground is the intersection of Seventh Avenue and West 33rd Street in New York City, New York.
