Local on the Taccoa Branch Line
Even the pouring rain can't make these old loco's shine!

Memories from the Mileposts in Georgia
This is NOT a csx branch line! this is the hartwell railroad which runs this line from toccoa to around bowersville. the track from there to elberton is still in place but not in use. the line was formerly owned by SOU and when NS sold it, the connection to csx was cut. the hatwell also runs the original hartwell rr from bowersville to hartwell. i cant blame you as most of the engines have not had their paint job altered since they arrived on the propery. did you check out airline, ga on the original hartwell rr? if not check it out next time as it is where they park all their engines not in use. also in lavonia they ussualy keep one engine to switch a grain elevator there, last time i was there it was a rare ex-b&le SD7.
