CN 4-8-2 #6065 - Canadian National         
This semi-streamlined 4-8-2 Mountain type steam locomotive (class U-1-f) was built by Montreal Locomotive Works in November of 1944. Note the crew member lubricating the wheels near the massive firebox. The U-1-f class was delivered with semi-streamlined conical smokebox covers that earned them the nickname of Bullet Nose Bettys. This loco was eventually scrapped in March of 1960. Specs - serial #72762, 73" drivers, impressive 260 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine weight of 365,700 lb, tractive effort of 52,313 lb. No photographer was listed for this nice photo.
