Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9557 and two more "EF" Class units whose numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horespower each. #9557 is an EF-15 built in September of 1948 and retired in May of 1966 after just 18 years of revenue service. |
