| The engineer on Q154 has neglected to turn on his headlight or ditch lights before getting back up to track speed following a meet with a unit coal train at Stevenson. The track to the right is the Norfolk Southern's Memphis District. NS has trackage rights over CSX from here to Wauhatchie (just southwest of Chattanooga) in an agreement that dates back to the days of the Southern and the N.C.&St.L. The majority of the way is double tracked, with the exception being between the Tennessee River at Bridgeport and a strech on the south side of Nickajack Lake between CP Alaten and CP James. |
