| Built by the Canadian Locomotive Company in October of 1924, this 4-8-2 Mountain type steam locomotive loco was used for express passenger service between major cities like Toronto and Montreal as well as Chicago. The powerful and fast loco lasted until the scrapper's torch ended its career in August of 1959, barely a year after this photo was taken as it sat with steam up in the Stratford, Ontario, yard.
