Southern Railway Special Power         
Southern Railway FP7’s 6144 and 6143 were parked outside the New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal engine house with E8A’s 6912 and 6908. The four units had arrived the previous evening with a 20-car special which had come to the CRESCENT CITY for a convention of railway surgeons.
