Wood. Here is a postal card entitled "Pennsylvania 9629." No Postmark. Caption On Reverse: "Alco FA and FB freight units outside the large Pennsy engine facilities at Enola, Pa. June 1956. Photo by Don Wood." Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9629 and a "B" unit whose number is not recorded. Both were built by the American Locomotive Company. #9629 is an AF-16 built in December of 1951, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and retired in January of 1967. Mr. Woods' Caption: "Alco's freight version of their famous PA passenger units: FA2 and FB1 pose outside Enola diesel shop in 1956."
