A Metra commuter train heads south in Chicago, Illinois, September 16, 2018. The old 16th Street tower was built in 1901 and is now operated by Metra. The train will cross both the “St. Charles Air Line” route operated by Chicago area railroads and Canadian National’s Illinois Central Railroad tracks. Engine #407 is an MP36PH-3S leading this train on its way to Joliet, Illinois. (Canon F-1 35mm camera, Fujichrome Sensia 100 slide film)
