PRR "Pennsylvania 4308," I-1SA, 1956         
Sweetland. Here is a postal card entitled "Pennsylvania 4308." No Postmark. Caption On Reverse: "Double-headed steam locomotives, with Class I-1s No. 4308 up front, accelerates a string of hopper cars near Weigh Scales, PA. August 26, 1956. Photo by David R. Sweetland." #4308 is an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during November of 1922, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in July of 1935, and retired in April of 1958 after 36 years of faithful service.
