Bowers. Here is the third of four successive duplicate 35mm color slides by Nelson Bowers that were taken near Shamrock Mills, Pennsylvania, on 22 September 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4315, an I-1SA (2-10-0) "Decapod" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an I-1S during December of 1922, rebuilt in Juniata as an I-1SA in July of 1941, and retired in October of 1959 after 37 years of faithful service.
