| Although still waring the E7A number, #4003 was rebuilt by EMD to an E8A after being wrecked near Conneaut, OH, on 3/27/1953. Although the slide by Robert M. Rose is marked as April of 1975, I believe this was taken prior to the PC merger as none of the locos on the roll had any PC markings. |
