Huntingdon. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Bill Price that was taken near Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, on 7 October 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #623, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during July of 1917 and retired in May of 1948 after 31 years of service. In this contest, it's hauling an eastbound Troop Train. (SPM)
