PRR 1659, H-9S, c. 1952         
Coal Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1659, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during September of 1913 and retired in August of 1957 after 44 years of faithful service. Note the water tower and the suspended water plug. The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded.
