PRR 5898, E-8, 1986         
Here is a photo (R to L) of former Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5896 and #5706. Both are E-8's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each; #5898 was built in March of 1951, while #5706 was built in October of 1952. In this context, they have stopped with an excursion train near Temple, Pennsylvania. The photographer's name is not recorded. Henry C. Westenberger Collection.
